Colorado, Here We Come

Next week we load up our basic supplies, and trek to Denver, Colorado with Nathan, Ryan, Chamrie, Doug, Chiya, and Lem. We are all off to do some summer sales. We are very excited about it. After a great deal of prayer and thought we decided to go with them. We considered the risk, and as time went on, the risk element seemed to totally disappear.

Scott was out of work for a little over 3 months. After that, he was rehired by Tunex. His first paycheck after getting back was small, but we expected that, since you usually work for a week or two before getting on the pay cycle. Then this week we found out that they had hired him on a Commission Only basis. We found out the day before he got paid. $500 for two weeks of work, 50+ hours a week. I couldn't believe it. Scott would have had to quit anyway, there is no way we can survive on that. I am mad that they didn't tell us. Anyways, so we aren't really risking his job, since it wouldn't have been possible to survive on it anyway

Meanwhile, we are totally excited for Colorado. The Boys will be out selling, and the Girls will be hanging out! We are working out the details, but we are going to alternate who makes dinner, and stuff. We will have internet up there, so we will be keeping family posted on our doings from our blogs. So, next time you hear from me, it will be miles away in Denver.
