Family Reunion

It is truly wonderful to have an extended family who holds dear to their hearts the same values we do. There was so much sharing, laughter, and relaxed joy among the family. The younger generation listened to the older one share stories and anecdotes from their childhood, and we got to see our parents as brothers and sisters, as well as hear stories about us from our Aunts and Uncles points of view. Of my Grandparents 8 children, 5 were able to make it. . . and we had 6 of the 8 families represented. It was a pretty good turn out.

Scott loved it. He swam in the irrigation ditch, played ultimate frisbee, hung out with my cousins, etc.

Daniel also had a blast. He was outside almost all the time, and he played with his second cousins, was chased by the older children, and held by my aunts and uncles. I hardly saw him once we drove up to my aunt's house, he just took off for her back yard. He is sad now though, we don't have a nice, fenced backyard, and I won't let him go outside . . . our yard is a parking lot. He will pull me to the door and cry, it is pretty sad.

We visited Bear World, which had lots of bears, and a petting zoo. It was fun to watch Daniel get so excited over the animals. Having children is so much fun! It reminds you of the wonders this world has to offer.

Chani,
It sounds like y'all hada blast. I am sorry I missed you when you came through SLC on your way to the Family Reunion. Hey, I'm gonna be in Cedar City Monday and Tuesday. Maybe I can see y'all then.
